Can You Honestly Make Money Online?
I used to ask myself that question all the time, until it started happening, and now I work full time from home. I will be the first to tell you that I am not wealthy because of the Internet yet, but I make a very comfortable living for my wife, daughter, and myself. I am so thankful to God for the oppportunity that I have to work from home, and I want to help you succeed.
Making that elusive first dollar online can be tough, but it is sure rewarding once you do it. One of the easiest methods you can use to make your first dollar online is through eBay
If you have not setup an Ebay account I highly encourage that you do so by going to www.ebay.com
To accept payments online you will need a free Paypal account. You can get started with Paypal by clicking here.
First, find an item that you don’t have any need for around the house, around your dorm, or in your car. Chances are there is something that you have that may be of no value to you, but you could make a few dollars by posting it and selling on Ebay. Take a picture of the item, and go to Ebay and follow their on screen instructions to list your item after registering on their website.
Once your item is listed you should begin to see bids. There are a couple of quick and valuable tips to adhere to when you post your first auction:
1. Make sure there is no clutter in the picture.
2. Be as detailed as possible with your auction description.
3. In the auction title cleary state what the item is including a model number if you know it. For example (Sony MV100 Digital Camera)
4. Tell any defects the product has, and explain why you are selling the item.
5. List your item at around 8:30PM to 9:30 PM (Eastern) or 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM (Pacific Time) You want your item to end when most people will be shopping online. If you post your item early in the morning, mid morning, or late at night you won’t get much traffic when your item is first listed, and when it is first posted.
6. The only upgrade I recommend is the Gallery Picture at $0.35.
7. Start your item at a low starting price, and do not worry about setting a reserve price for your first item. The goal with a low starting price is to encourage more bids.
8. When your item sells ship it fast.
Make sure you have a Paypal account so you can accept payment at the end of the auction. You can setup a Paypal account at www.paypal.com.
There are hundreds of other important things to consider with Ebay, but this is quick overview of how you can make your first dollar online. Many people make a full time living just by selling on Ebay. In fact right now I use Ebay to generate an extra $300 to $500 per month.
I will give you more information on Ebay as time goes on. If you would like to be kept up to date on the latest methods for making money online, I encourage you to sign up for my FREE newsletter by providing your first name and e-mail below.
