I was talking with a good friend and fellow Internet marketer the other day about the economy, and he brought up a great point to me. He said people are still spending money online, people still have extra money, people still need clothes, they buy electronics, etc. He said the mortgage industry may be bad and a few other areas of our economy are bad, but don’t let that discourage you from making money online. I must say that I agree fully with this statement because I see it with my own business as people are still spending money online through my affiliate links or through my other ecommerce websites. If we get down and say we can’t make money online and give up, than you won’t get anywhere, but if you keep working hard you will find that you will begin making money, or you will continue to make money.

That wise friend also told me that now is the time to dominate your competition because while they put on the brakes on marketing because they feel the economy is bad that is your chance to turn up the heat on your marketing and go past your competition. The main point of this post is to encourage you to never give up when you are trying to make money online. I see it first hand with my business and my clients and friends businesses. People are still buying products and services online.

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree.

As he went further, he saw a large wild “Tom” turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining. A voice spoke to him and said, “Pray first, aim high and stay focused.”

However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice said again to him, “I said ‘Pray, Aim high and Stay focused.” So, the man decided to listen to God’s voice.

He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer and a turkey to eat for his family.

The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:

Pray first before you do anything, Aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.

Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that, “the past.”

Live every day one day at a time and remember that only God knows our future and that he will not put you through any more than you can bear. Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor.

Wait, be still and patient: keep God first and everything else will follow.

Pass this on in order that someone else might be blessed.
FROM ONE FRIEND TO ANOTHER…

“Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you’re not willing to move your feet.”

My 13-month old daughter just had surgery to remove a large growth from her back, and I am pleased to say that everything went well with her procedure, and God is so good as He was with her the whole time.  This time really made me appreciate the opportunity that I have to work from home because I was able to just leave and be with my daugther and wife during this difficult time without having to rush back to a regular boss and a busy job.

My family is much more comfortable because I am able to work full time wherever an Internet connection is available. I can’t imagine ever wanting to do anything else. I consider making money online from home both a business and a hobby. I really enjoy what I do, and I thank God every chance I get for this chance.

I am working on a course right now that will help you move in the right direction towards finally making money online. Hopefully one day you will be able to work full time from home and get away from a tough job, or even make a little extra money each month to stay ahead of bills.

I am the proud father of a wonderful 11 month old girl, and life has really changed for the better since God brought her into the world. The other day she did something that really is applicable to anyone trying to make money online.

To set the stage for this little lesson I have to give you a quick background. She is at that stage in life where she just wants to constantly move and “go places” in the house. We have two couches in our living room, and in between the couches is a large gap so people can enter the living room. If our daughter is in the living room area we will block that opening off with her large play pen, so we don’t have to chase her around the house all day.

Anyways, the play pen was up and my daughter wanted to get to the other side of it because there was something she wanted to get into over there! Even though a large obstacle was in her path she was determined to get over there. I watched in amazement as she used her hands and arms to push the play pen to one side so that she could create a small opening for herself.

She would than attempt to squeeze through that opening, and “fuss” because it wasn’t working out for her, but instead of giving up she would go back to pushing and creating a bigger opening. This went on for a little while until she broke free and went crawling as fast as she could to the object she was after!

Now you are probably wondering what this has to do with making money online. It actually has a lot to do with it. See my daughter knew what she wanted and even though a big obstacle was in her way she found a way to overcome it, and get to what she wanted. All it took was a little persistence, patience, and effort.

Many of us encounter obstacles on our way to making money online, or we “fuss” for a little bit because it doesn’t seem to be going as well as we had originally planned. The big thing to take away from this is don’t ever give up.

If you are reading this blog, chances are you are trying to figure out how to finally make money online, or you are trying to figure out how you can increase your online income. I am here to tell you that with patience, persistence, and a lot of effort I have been able to break free from a regular job, and I work full time from home.
