I am both excited and shocked at the same time that Google would publish a Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide. They typically keep really quiet on anything related to SEO. This is a big step for them. It is a basic guide to SEO, but a very good one at that. You should certainly check it out as you may get some good points from it. Google even says the following, and I quote:

“Although this guide won’t tell you any secrets that’ll automatically rank your site first for queries in Google (sorry!), following the best practices outlined below will make it easier for search engines to both crawl and index your content.”

This guide won’t show you anything earth shattering I am sure. I haven’t had a chance to totally review it yet. This is great information that you will want to read and review. It will help you in your business.
